Saray Chavez works as a Trial Paralegal at Barnett, Lerner, Karsen, Frankel & Castro, P.A. Ms. Chavez earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and began her legal career as a Case Manager fighting for the rights of Broward County’s Abandoned, Abused and Neglected children. Ms. Chavez investigated reports of allegations, conducted home safety checks, and wrote extensive reports for the Court. Ms. Chavez then shifted her focus and goals to become part of a legal team as a Paralegal. She then began working in Foreclosure where she started as a Client Systems Processor updating client files, was brought into the Litigation team, and quickly progressed as Trial Prep Administrator and was soon promoted to be a Trial Paralegal. As a Trial Paralegal, Ms. Chavez secured witness testimonies, requested and collected Trial exhibits, and prepared all necessary Pre-Trial requirements as set by the Courts. Ms. Chavez will be working closely with our clients and attorneys in preparing cases for trial.
